Antonell Media is the trade name of me, Kajsa Antonell, founder and sole proprietor of Antonell Media translation and copywriting services in Sweden. The security of your personal information is important to me, and this privacy policy informs you of the types of personal information I collect, use, store, share, or otherwise process when you visit www.antonellmedia.se (the “Site”), interact with me through email or social media, or use my translation or copywriting services.

I collect information using cookies on this site for the purposes of running an efficient site, as well as to learn more about traffic to make the site better. PERSONAL INFORMATION I COLLECT
You are not obliged to provide any personal data when visiting www. antonellmedia.se. Nevertheless, if you are interested in my services you can get in touch via my contact form, or send me an email or connect through social media accounts.
Some personal data then has to be collected in order to establish communication, and to communicate and collaborate with you in regards to the services I provide.
The personal data I may collect includes; your name, company name, postal adress, e-mail adress, telephone number, source material (files you send me for quoting) ID/tax number, payment and delivery conditions, financial and bank account details.
WHY DO I COLLECT INFORMATION?
The legal basis for processing your data is to perform the services you request or to take necessary steps prior to fulfilling that request and to comply with legal requirements. I use the information to communicate and collaborate with you in regards to the services I provide. I collect, store and use personal data in order to issue quotes, communicate regarding my services, provide the translation, editing or revision services requested, issue invoices or comply with legal requirements.
I will also use your information to promote further services that may be of interest to you, and to follow-up my services, with a feedback questionnaire. I may ask for your consent to use the feedback to promote my services. If you provide a testimonial and consent to me using it, I may display it with your name, or your title, on my site, along with any publicly known information associated with you and your company.
I do not use your personal data for marketing purposes, unless I have your consent to do so.
I hold data on clients and potential clients for legitimate interests.
SOCIAL MEDIA AND THIRD PARTIES
The Site also includes links to my Instagram and LinkedIn and ProZ.com accounts. These features are provided by the third-party social media and community platforms themselves. These sites may use cookies to gather information, and all information gathered on these sites is subject to their individual privacy policies.
The Site is hosted on Wix.com. All of the sites content is hosted on Wix's servers, your data is stored through Wix’s data storage, databases and the general Wix application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
I sometimes use Google Drive to collect or send files from or to you. I may use G Suite, Gmail, or Google Drive to communicate with you, send files to you, and archive conversations for reference. All for the purposes of carrying out my services to you. I may use Paypal and TransferWise to process payments for my services.
HOW DO I USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
When I talk about “personal information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about device information and personal information you provided through a contact form or email.
I use the personal information that I collect generally to;
Communicate with you, provide services you have requested, providing you with quotes, invoices and/or order confirmations. Ask for your comments or feedback on my services, to communicate regarding additional services that may interest you and to notify you of changes to my services, terms and policies.
Additionally, I use the device information that I collect to screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize my Site, for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site.
HOW LONG WILL I KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
I maintain the rights to use and store your personal information for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as long as is set out in any relevant contract I hold with you. You may at any time contact me and ask for your personal information to be deleted from my systems, archives, and all third-party services I use and where your information may be stored.
If you have been invoiced by me for services, you may ask me to retain only the most minimal personal information needed for my business archiving, annual accounting and auditing.
I review my retention of personal information every 6 months. Your source materials or documents which I receive to perform my services will be automatically erased upon confirmation of completion of the service unless otherwise specified or agreed.
TRANSLATION MEMORIES AND CAT-TOOLS
To facilitate my work I extract and compile translation memory from clients’ source material using CAT tools (Computer-assisted Translation Tools). Any personal data, when entered into the the TM base, will be anonymized and effectively scrambled into segments and the data subject cannot be identified. My TM base is kept in a secure way and the access to it is restricted and protected by passwords. I will not share the TM base with other translators or any third party, unless we agree to it.
If specified in the contract, I am willing to agree not to use TM from projects worked on for one client, with another client. I am also willing to agree to perform work remotely on tools/applications/portals controlled by you as a client.
STANDARD SECURITY PRACTICES
I have endorsed Proz.com guidelines for professional translators and I take all possible precautionary measures to guarantee that your personal data is safeguarded.
I do not discuss confidential project content with unauthorized parties.
I do not disclose my clients' identities or contact information, or the identities or contact information of their clients or vendors, without first obtaining permission to do so.
I consider all communications with clients to be confidential and do not disclose emails or other such correspondence.
I consider reference materials to be confidential; I do not share such materials, and would not use them on other client's projects, without permission.
All electronic systems in use for storing or processing personal information are password-protected and up to date. All incoming/outgoing files are scanned for viruses and malware.
I understand how to, and am willing to agree to, use an encrypted VPN for file transfers and communication.
In the event that documents are printed during the translation process (e.g. for final edits), these will be shredded and disposed of once the project is complete.
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFO
I do not outsource any of my translation/editing work, unless we agree to it. In that situation I will make sure that the colleagues in question are GDPR-compliant and will process your information accordingly.
I may be required to share some client data to other parties for financial reasons, annual accounting or auditing, All these parties are also compliant with the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

If you would like to exercise this right, please contact me through the contact information below.
I always take all precautionary steps to guarantee the security, integrity and confidentiality of all my clients personal data, European resident or not. You are entitled to access, modify, erase or contest the personal data that I hold.
I will act upon this as soon as possible, within a maximum of one month from the date of your request.
CHANGES
